This demo level was built with the Turn Based Strategy Framework — a highly customizable framework for turn-based strategy games. The demo showcases a new tilemap-based approach to building maps, coming soon in the next release. The advantages of using tilemaps include:

  • Performance Boost: Eliminates thousands of GameObjects, reducing draw calls and memory overhead.

  • Flexible Workflows: Design maps in Unity, generate them procedurally at runtime, or import layouts from external tools (Blender, Tiled, etc.).

  • Live Editing: Modify the map at any time.
